In the heart of the lake district vinegar jones has been a established fish and chip shop for over twenty years. A very short distance from the lake and the steamer piers we offer a choice of take away or eat in facility.

Our first floor dining area has wonderful views of royal square. Including St Martin's church which dates back to Norman times. We can seat 24 with highchairs available and bathroom and baby changing facilities.

We also can accomodate large parties for either take away or eating in. Telephone orders can be taken for the dining area, collection or delivery by taxi.
